Thank you so much for acknowledging what so many people know, and recognizing that the trolls in your comments do not represent the majority of the democratic world and Americans.
I’m not a fan of Trump either, but to non-ironically say democracy has ended for the next four years.. I mean, grow up man.
Proud of you for finding your lane that includes a crowd who needs someone like you to tell them what they want to hear.
I’m absolutely not unsubscribing from you due to anything related to your politics, I’m unsubscribing from you because your content is not nearly good enough to have to sift through the rest of your bullshit.
Here's what I actually said, "The USA is facing four years of dark times ahead and we know what’s coming since democracy barely endured that mayhem once, emerging battered and swaying on the ropes." Nothing in there saying, "Democracy has ended for the next four years."
I sincerely hope it doesn't die since I still have many friends and relatives in the USA and I would hate to see my country of birth go into permanent decline from self-inflicted wounds.
Meanwhile, this is looking to be a great day for new subscribers, so goodbye, time for others to join who don't mind having someone challenge their views or present a different perspective than what they usually tune into.
I would've thought that your hyperbole about Democracy dying in the US was just that, until I saw the plug for a book and consulting sale. Low goes lower, I guess. Yuck.
I've gotten a ton of media inquiries and reader e-mails about the subject and if you're on social media, you see it's getting talked about a lot. So it was apt to mention. I've helped hundreds of people in their plans to move abroad, not to mention exponentially more who bought the book, but if you aren't interested, that's okay. Perhaps we're a bad match. I hope I'm wrong and we come out the other side of this with a still-functioning democracy in four years, but the odds are not good based on past history and the Project 2025 plans, especially on the environment.
Wasn’t your first line that democracy was already over?
Of course you’re going to get attention from social media and emails… …from those in your echo chamber who need more content they agree with and can spew to the rest.
Zero about any of that at all proves what you are doing and saying is wholesome or a positive addition to the world. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.
Nope, didn't say that. "The USA is facing four years of dark times ahead and we know what’s coming since democracy barely endured that mayhem once, emerging battered and swaying on the ropes."
If the VP hadn't stood up for democracy on January 6 during the riot, we might not have had an election this week because the attempted coup could have been successful. No echo chamber needed on what happened: it all came out in the impeachment trial and the transcripts are public.
Feel free to get your free content elsewhere from people who don't challenge your views if this newsletter is not working for you. We added a lot more referred subscribers than usual this week so if you are not a good match, I think we'll be fine.
It's telling that you attack me personally instead of debating the facts and that you think a view that doesn't match your own indicates a need for mental guidance...
Trump won the election - electoral college and popular vote. We just emerged from 4 very dark years. The voters fixed the problem. The Democrats didn't use a democratic process to pick their candidate. Oh, and they covered up Biden's condition until it was impossible for them to continue with the fraud.
Jan 6th protests were disgraceful. I don't know what those people were thinking. I had to hold my nose to vote for Trump and wish he wasn't the candidate. That said, he was a better option than Harris/Walz. Even with his liabilities - he won.
I give you credit for "voting with your feet" and leaving the country. A lot of people say they were going to do it, but few actually do. Your newsletter had some useful information.
Dark years?!! Every economic stat is off the charts, especially compared to the rest of the G7! The USA has been completely killing it the past few years compared to every other industrialized nation. Lots of independent charts in this link that you can verify through other sources if you don't like his. Anyone who wants to work is working, inflation is at pre-pandemic levels, we're close to full employment, the gas prices people were whining about two years ago are low again, the stock markets keep setting new records, and on and on. It's hard to imagine how things get any BETTER than this economically. There's nowhere to go but down at some point. (P.S. - this newsletter was from October. The stats are even better now.) https://www.noahpinion.blog/p/let-us-pause-to-appreciate-the-remarkable
A third of the electorate didn't vote and he won most handily among the least educated. They're voting for someone who tells them he can lower the price of groceries (despite not having enough workers to pick and process them), not reading financial news to see this is one of the best times in history, unfortunately.
Economic growth (compared to the G7 or otherwise) means nothing if it's not reflected in people's everyday life - and it wasn't.
Funny how you mention stock markets and exactly 4 yrs ago everyone (incl. Biden) made fun of Trump for bragging about the stock market, as it was for the rich and not the common man. (nevermind that most of the growth has been the big tech 7)
What else, hmm... Oh yeah, 2 major wars in a world which had none.
And finally to top it off, an awful DEI candidate—this is objective as she placed 18th out of 29 among the 2020 candidates and didn’t even get to the primaries—who undemocratically became the nominee and shied away from every interview... And when she gave one constantly said she wouldn't do a single thing differently!
Instead of implying people don't know their own livelihoods better, please look at how your party could've done better, in a million ways.
I personally think you should keep your personal political opinions to yourself! I signed up to your newsletter like I would think the majority of your subscribers for tips and info of nomadic living and not US politics and certainly not a one sided opinion. Dark times?? Most of the Country clearly is actually seeing a brighter better 4 years, such as the last time Trump was president unlike the last 4 years with Biden that actually was a big failure. I mean Trump one with a land slide so in my option you are completely off. Regardless I don’t need to hear your ignorant opinions on what the next four years will look like with your far liberal leftist views. Let’s just focus on the nomadic information please, as clearly you don’t know jack about US politics. I mean assuming all your subscribers share your opinion is absolutely insane.
Thank you so much for acknowledging what so many people know, and recognizing that the trolls in your comments do not represent the majority of the democratic world and Americans.
"Democracy barely endured"... major lolz

Im leaving as well. I don’t need B.S. from a whiny liberal like you Tim.

I guess the majority of us were just too stupid to realize how good we had it.
