The best mailbox service and residency combined for those who do not want to maintain a physical home that is have found is South Dakota. They have services there which give you a physical address and a virtual mailbox you can access online. You can then forward the important things to relatives or even overseas. You do have to physically go there for at least one overnight stay in order to complete the process. Getting my license and tags for my car took an amazing 3 hours total between two locations across town from each other. Also have to physically go back every 5 years for an overnight to renew things. SD has no state taxes and above all of this is actually a really nice domicile if the need arises.
