I can still recommend this packable backpack even though the waterproofing is a bit less than the original model.

Thanks for the recommendation! My model is a little different than that, probably an older version, but it has served me well for years now.

I have the older model as well with red accents and thinner shoulder straps. I carried that one through Vietnam monsoons!

ive always had great wifi availability on Delta with a tmobile number for years. Delta recently started free wifi on their flights (if the plane is equipped). International free wifi isnt yet a thing on delta. Im wondering and scratching my head how we dont have universal free wifi on every corner of the modern world, but i guess we are a little way from there.

I think there's a mix of reasons it's not widespread, from the cost of setting it up to the difficulty when flying over different countries, to dead zones and oceans. I think part of it though is low demand. The paid customer base has always been very low and if you walk around the plane on an international flight, most people are watching movies, sleeping, or reading, not doing what they do during regular work hours.

Lot's of useful information here! The hop-on hop-off buses are touristy but actually valuable to cover a lot of ground in a single day.
